Nevada”s Walker Lake might look like a peaceful spot where you can stop and enjoy the wonders of the American Southwest. Most of the time that”s true, except during the summer. You don”t want to be there during the summer.

Aside from the oppressive heat, every summer, Walker Lake becomes infested with the CREEPY. The peaceful lake literally becomes your worst nightmare. It”s not for the faint of heart.

This is just a horror film waiting to happen. Lucky for us, the spider population only booms during the summer months, and then sharply declines once temperatures drop in the fall. So feel free to enjoy the lake any time other than when the spiders are crawling.
