When it comes to dessert, are you a cake person, or a cookie person? If you love both treats equally, it can be hard to decide between the awesome crunch of cookies, or the fluffy deliciousness of cake. If this debate is a real struggle for you, baking enthusiast Charles Phoenix has a solution. He soaked chocolate, peanut butter, fudge, and vanilla cookies in cream to create a cookie-cake hybrid that might actually kill you — whether it”s with flavor or due to your arteries clogging is up for debate. Check out his creation below.

He started with two packages of each type of cookie: Nutter Butters, Oreos, Chips Ahoy, Circus Animals, and Fudge Stripes.

He also used four boxes of white cake mix, half a gallon of half and half, and a whopping six tubs of chocolate frosting.

He divided the half and half into five pans. Breaking the treats up into pieces, he filled the pans with cookies and left them to soak overnight.

Once the cookies soaked overnight, he combined the cake mix and creamy cookies in a cake pan by layering them on top of each other.

He then baked them based on the instructions on the cake mix box.

Charles suggests using a toothpick to test if the cake is finished baking, as it may take more time than suggested due to the density of the cookie pieces. Once the cake is baked, put the layers on top of each other and apply the icing.

You can decorate the cake with even more cookies if you so choose.

The inside of the cake looks so cool. I can”t decide if this makes me hungry, or makes me feel full just looking at it.

Wow, Phoenix must have a serious dedication to sweets to eat this cake. I would love to try a slice of it…and then head to the gym immediately after!
